Heritage Golf Club

Heritage Golf Club required a complete signage and course design overhaul to modernise its presentation, improve wayfinding, and establish a consistent visual identity. The scope included a full redraw of the entire golf course for design application, extraction of hole layouts from Nearmap’s 3D mapping tool, and the design of both tee box and hole signage.

The project also involved a comprehensive signage audit, development of wayfinding design, and the creation of detailed design guidelines and branding files for the club.

Sportworks delivered end-to-end project management — from initial audit through to design, documentation, and procurement. The process began with a comprehensive signage audit and wayfinding strategy to map key navigation points and identify opportunities to enhance clarity and presentation across the course.

The entire course was digitally redrawn to achieve precision for design development and graphical application. From there, detailed design guidelines and branding files were produced to ensure long-term consistency across all future signage.

Concepts were then developed for tee box signage, alongside the procurement of custom large rock-mounted hole signage featuring durable, weather-resistant plaques fixed to natural stone — combining premium presentation with lasting durability.

The Heritage Golf Club now features a unified and modern signage suite that enhances course navigation and strengthens the club’s overall identity. The new design guidelines and branding files provide a lasting framework for consistency, ensuring future signage and collateral reflect the same high standard across the entire course environment.
